Debate Team Requirements
1. Keep a positive attitude!
2. Regularly attend team meetings, held every Thursday after school during the season.
3. Compete regularly at tournaments (Saturdays) throughout our season, October-December.
4. Dress appropriately at all tournaments.
5. Be on time for the bus to tournaments, and leave with the team on the bus.
6. Watch a final round at each tournament, even if you are not competing in it.
7. Be a supportive teammate by contributing to the research documents.
8. Register for Debate via SmartSchool.

Lettering
Team members may earn a letter for their involvement in Debate if all of the following criteria are met in one season:
- Competing in at least 2 tournaments.
- Regularly attending team practice.
- Acting true to our mission, beliefs, and all policies.
- No unexcused absences from practices or tournaments.
